Blueberry Wensleydale – English Cow's Milk Cheese
Milk: Cow
Origin: North Yorkshire, England
Suitable for Vegetarians
Our Coombe Castle Wensleydale is combined with the finest blueberries to make this classic sweet blend. The deep purple flecks of the blueberries create a striking contrast with the creamy coloured Wensleydale, featuring a mild, creamy texture with sweet bursts of real blueberries throughout. The delicate tang of Wensleydale balances perfectly with the fruity notes, making it a visually stunning and flavorful addition to any cheese board.
Originating from North Yorkshire, Wensleydale is considered a British classic. It is thought that the cheese dates back to the Middle Ages, being introduced in Britain by Cistercian monks who settled in the town of Wensleydale.
