Recognizable by its thin, moist, sticky orange-brown rind, this cheese delivers a powerful aroma that gives way to a surprisingly smooth, buttery, and gently savoury flavour.

Aged for approximately three months, Vieux Pané develops a soft, springy paste that melts effortlessly on the palate. Despite its pungent scent, the flavour remains approachable—creamy with subtle tang, mild bitterness, and delicate nutty undertones—making it a favourite among washed-rind enthusiasts.
